The role of Apar
Central heating interacts with air-conditioning and the automatic opening of windows thanks to irradiation data supplied by a special sensor, resulting in considerable advantages in terms of saving of energy.
We can programme a “coming home” scenario whereby lights come on, central heating comes on and the house alarm switches off. By means of a “morning awakening” at a fixed time, the stereo will be turned on, blinds rolled up and the coffee machine switched on.
And more: Home Automation opens new horizons, as for example visualizing the entry-phone screen on your television or transmitting it via internet.
In the case of a power-cut, due to lightning for example, the system can be programmed to re-activate the switch automatically.
The telephone becomes an entry-phone in other surroundings and a remote control by which all household functions can be controlled.
A sensor alarm for gas leaks and flooding can be activated by phoning, sending an sms or e-mail, as for burglary too.
In addition to all this convenience, there is also the important aspect of energy-saving. Use of electricity will be increasingly popular for the smaller household electrical appliances with energy-saving time-bands. Now my DOMOTIC house can operate the washing-machine, dishwasher, water-softener etc. at night at economic rates. Furthermore, this “smart” house can give a saving of up to 30% on heating thanks to the management system functioning when we are actually in the house.
Schuco E-drive
Still concerning energy-saving and maximum livability in both offices and homes, Apar recommends Schuco’s E-drive, a high-tech system for automatic management of building functions. For the first time automation has entered the world of fastenings for what is commonly called “smart management” of offices.
Thanks to a computer system on the EIB-BUS line, atmosphere and systems data is collected (internal and external temperatures, humidity, wind, light, present state of openings, people present etc.), of the management of the motorized actuators of SCHUCO’s components (windows, locks, sun-shades) and coordination of all the building’s technological systems, heating and air-conditioning. Using this method, E-drive can operate the locking of all windows in the entire building under certain conditions (light, people present, etc.) regulate the sun-shade action if the sun is too strong and at the same time regulate the central heating system, and eventually opening certain windows.
The role of Apar
Apar is able to interface its products with DOMOTIC systems. Automation of windows, shutters, blinds as well as gates and garages. The use of these systems is based on external conditions such as the sun’s rays and temperature, the internal temperature being regulated by air-conditioning, central-heating and window openings.
